Ingredients

Serves : 16
  • 1cup Whole wheat flour


  • 1/2cup jaggery


  • 1/4cup oil(butter)


  • 1/2cup milk


  • 1/4cup yougurt


  • 1/4cup cocoapowder


  • 1tsp Vanilla essence


  • 1tsp baking powder


  • 1tsp baking soda


  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts


  • 7_8 cherry


  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped dark chocolate


  • 1/2 cup fresh cream

Directions

  • In a bowl add grated jaggery, milk,yogurt,vanilla essence, and oil whisk this all ingredients until mixture turned creamy
  • Now sieve wheat flour,cocoa powder baking powder and baking soda.
  • Now mix all the dry ingredients and wet ingredients properly.Mix everything well just until combined. Do not over mix.
  • make sure we want lumps free batter
  • Pour the mixture to the greased tray.
  • Knock the pan to the kitchen counter a few times.
  • toping some chopped walnuts over the cake.
  • put this tin in preheated cooker and bake this cake 25_30 minutes in low to medium flame.
  • When the cake is done a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool the cake for about 15 mins before removing the cake to the wire rack. This cake is very delicate so handle it gently.
  • Cool the cake completely before icing.
  • Chop the chocolate. Heat the cream in a saucepan until starts bubbling.
  • Once the cream is fairly hot, switch off the flame and dump in the chocolate and let it be undisturbed for a minute.
  • Now whisk in the butter and voila, our ganache is ready!
  • Cool this completely. The chocolate sauce thickens after cooling.
  • Place the cake on a deep serving plate. Pour the chocolate sauce over the cake.
  • Topping some cherry over on the cake
